Xavier Mufraggi is a young, dynamic professional with a strong strategic marketing background in the food, consumer and hospitality sectors.
Xavier began his career with Kraft Foods in Europe in marketing, commercial and product development positions for 7 years.
Xavier joined Club Med in 2005 and was promoted 3 years later CEO of Club Med North America and Caribbean at age 31.Xavier oversees a 270 million dollar operation consisting of 3,000 employees and he is part of the Club Med worldwide board.
Xavier has succeeded by 2010 in positioning Club Med into an innovative new family upscale vacation niche and turnaround the region, which was unprofitable since 2001. The region now posts historic records every year since 2010.
2014 period marks the beginning of a more aggressive strategy for Club Med North America starting by the search for new sites in USA and Canada with a priority in ski domains to develop the all-inclusive concept where no one else managed to implement it. He also started bold initiatives such as the partnership with Cirque du Soleil and had a key role in Club Med Digital WW transformation.
Xavier has lived in Europe, Africa and the US. As a new American Citizen he now resides in Miami with his British wife and Miami born daughters and actively trains and participates in long distance Triathlons.
